Step 1: Consult
We come to your property. Greg or a senior Summit team member walks the site with you, listens to what you want, and gives you an honest assessment of what it takes. This visit is free. We ask questions, take measurements, and get the full picture before we put a number on anything.
Step 2: Budget
Before any design work begins, we align on scope and budget. We'll tell you honestly what your project will cost at a high level, so there are no surprises when the formal quote arrives. This conversation saves time for everyone and ensures the plan we develop actually fits what you're looking to invest.
Step 3: Design
With budget aligned, we develop the plan for your project — layout, materials, sequencing, and any special considerations for your site. For larger or more complex projects this may include a sketch or site diagram. You'll have a clear picture of what's being built before any formal agreement is signed.
Step 4: Quote
You receive a written proposal that breaks down the scope, materials, and cost clearly. No line items that say 'miscellaneous.' No lowball number that balloons once work starts. The quote reflects the actual job, and we explain anything that needs context. You'll know exactly what you're getting before you commit to anything.
Step 5: Build
Our crew arrives on time, works clean, and keeps you informed. If something unexpected comes up — which happens on any outdoor project — you hear about it immediately, before it affects your timeline or cost. We don't make decisions on your property without talking to you first.
Step 6: Walkthrough
When the work is complete, we walk the project with you before we pack up. You inspect everything, ask questions, and tell us if anything isn't right. We're not done until you're satisfied. That walkthrough is our commitment to the work, not a formality..
How Long Will My Project Take?
Every project is different, but here are typical timeframes for common Summit services:
Paver patio (400–600 sq ft) — 3 to 5 days
Retaining wall (up to 4 ft, 40–60 linear ft) — 2 to 4 days
Full lawn installation (sod, 2,000–5,000 sq ft) — 1 to 2 days
Irrigation system (residential, 5–8 zones) — 1 to 2 days
Site clearing and grading (typical residential lot) — 1 to 3 days
Fencing (100–150 linear ft) — 1 to 2 days

You will always be able to reach someone at Summit. We return calls and messages within one business day — usually the same day. During active construction, Greg or the lead crew member will check in with you at the start and end of each work day. You'll never wonder what happened on your property while you were at work.
